Things to do in Wicklow

Hiking – Enniskerry is a haven for hikers, mountain runners, adventurers & MTB enthusiasts. We are at the foot of Wicklow mountains.

Mountain Biking – The GAP – Glencullen Adventure Park is only 10minute drive from The Enniskerry Inn.

Also in our area is the Ballinastoe mountain bike trail. This is a fantastic trail with heart pumping down hill sections and some very good climbs, why not use the Enniskerry Inn to explore Ballinastoe? Mountain bike hire is available from our friends at www.biking.ie

Golf – Some of the finest courses in the area, including Druids Glen & Powerscourt are only a short drive.

We are 3km from the Wicklow Way trail head at Crone Woods.
Enniskerry is great spot for movie enthusiasts – Disneys Disenchanted and P.S. I Love you were filmed in the village. The hit TV show ‘Vikings’ is also filmed in the area.
We are a short drive from the beautiful Sally Gap (Aprox 15km)

Hill Walking / Hiking / Trail Running

Powerscourt Estate

We are only a 5 minute walk to Powerscourt estate, gardens and distillery Magnificent Estate house with 47 acre gardens, voted 3rd best garden in the World and home to fercullen whiskey.

Mountain Biking

Why not rent a mountain bike while at the Enniskerry Inn. This is a fantastic way to see County Wicklow and all it has to offer. You will go from lakeside to mountain top during your adventure, with stunning views and local tracks for all skill and fitness levels.

We are only 10minute drive the Glencullen Adventure Park “GAP” purpose-built mountain bike park offering uplifts and amazing trails in the Dublin mountains 5 days per week Wednesday to Sunday.

Vartry Lakes

We have stunning lakes here in Enniskerry, just a 20 min drive away! There are a number of beautiful trails around the reservoir with thriving wildlife, flora, fauna and mountain views. Combined, there are nearly 20km of trails for all to enjoy.
